As part of the ClubGRANTS Category 2 scheme, the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club Ltd are offering a limited number of grants of up to $2,000 per application.
The ClubGRANTS Category 2 stream is aimed at community development, support activities, and projects not listed under Category 1 and the Clubs core activities — especially grass-root sporting groups and school initiatives eg:
- purchasing any new equipment/infrastructure for schools
- team sponsorship for local community sports groups
- fundraiser to help a sick child/family in need
Any eligible organisation based within New South Wales may apply, but priority will be given to organisations based within Junee Shire, or directly supplying services to the Junee community.
Cash or In-Kind Services
The 2023 round of the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club’s ClubGrants Category 1 offers two funding opportunities — “Cash” or “In-Kind Services”
Whilst virtually every local community group can always utilise “cash funding” for particular projects, “in-kind” non-monetary support from the Ex-Services Club can often a greater impact on an event or activity.
Common services that can be provided in-kind, include, but are not limited to:
- Room Hire for meetings or events
- Customised fundraising events including Movie Nights, Bingo or Trivia Events, Gala Dinners, Award Ceremonies
- Audio Visual Equipment and Video Conferencing hire fees wavered
- Opportunities to sell Raffle Tickets within Club premises (usually on a Thursday night (before the Members Badge Draw) or Friday evening (before the Treasure Trove Draw))
- Use of Raffle Barrels and hosting of your Raffle Draw event
- Printing Services (limited scope)
- Prizes for your own Fundraisers
- Promotion of your activities via JEMC Website, Social Media channels, on screen displays and posters within the Club premises
Seriously consider if “in-kind support” would better suit your project goals than a “cash donation”Always feel free to contact Luke, the General Manager, to determine if your project should consider “in-kind support” — as non-monetary support can often have a far greater impact on your project!
