A number of organisations within Junee Shire have recently received funding from various NSW Government initiatives to improve local infrastructure.
Goodstart Early Learning Junee received $13,482.62 for a large outdoor climbing frame and vegetable garden from the Quality Learning Environments program. In the previous round of the QLE program Goodstart Junee were awarded $8,954.75 for outdoor blinds.
The Junee Reefs Ivor Hall will be undergoing a spruce up made possible through a $23,204 grant from the NSW Government’s Crown Reserves Improvement Fund. The funding will replace the hall’s guttering and enable internal and external painting. The Rural Fire Service shed adjacent to the Junee Reefs Hall has recently installed solar panels thanks funding received through the Natural Disaster Resilience Programme.
Junee Tennis Club have received $20,000 through the Community Building Partnership, which will see them build new toilets attached to the existing clubhouse.
Junee Showgrounds will be improving their food preparation areas and installing a screen for the Showground’s pavilion, all thanks for $23,204 from the Crown Reserves Improvement Fund.
Gasworks Motorsports are installing two Unisex Accessible Toilets in between Illabo Motorsport Park and the northern end of the Illabo Showground Main Arena so they can also be utilised by the Riverina Working Equitation group. This is thanks to $29,892 funding from the Community Building Partnership Program.
